About Wahiba

I'm Wahiba Kartaoui, a nurse practitioner, a mother, and the founder of Vieora. For more than a decade I have cared for women across the whole body, from hematology-oncology at Duke and UNC to primary care and internal medicine, women's health and hormones, metabolic and weight management, mental health, and aesthetic medicine, licensed across five states and fluent in four languages. But I am also the woman in the chair. I have lived my own perimenopause and my own late ADHD diagnosis, and I know how lonely it is to carry a change no one prepares you for. For too long we have walked the same road in silence, each of us certain it was just me. It was never just me. It was never just you. It was all of us, suffering alone.

Vieora is where that ends. This is more than a practice. It is a voice and a safe space for women.

Here, it is okay to feel exactly what you feel, okay to ask for help, okay to be vulnerable, okay to feel lost in a chapter no one ever prepared us for. We talk about all of it: the science of your hormones and your body, yes, but also your mind, your confidence, aesthetics that run far deeper than skin, fashion, and the permission to put yourself first without guilt. We carry everyone on our shoulders and rarely do the same for ourselves. Here, someone advocates for you, and reminds you that caring for yourself was never vanity. It is how you come home to yourself.

And we say it out loud now, one story passed to the next, so our daughters and the women after them will never feel as alone as we did. We prepare girls for puberty. It is time we prepared women for this, our second adolescence. This is how we stop simply surviving it and start thriving through it, in our 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and all the way to 100 and beyond. We have so many chapters left to write.
